BARS AND CAFE'S

 Amsterdam has hundreds of pubs. There are a lot very old pubs that still have their classical interior. In areas like Zeedijk and Spui several of those pubs have a history that goes back a couple of centuries! The pub that you see below here is one of the best maintained in the city.

The city has a lot of terraces too. Many are located on places with nice views. With good weather they can accomodate thousands of people. Below you see one of many terraces.

Concerts of wider known artists are taking place in several concerthalls and sometimes in the Arena Stadium. We handle this topic in one of the other links. Most of the times it is not possible to order tickets for those concerts very short before the concert. We can order them in advance if you want to.

The city has several bars where live-music is made almost every day. This ranges from places where pop or bluesmusic is plaid to jazzclubs.

Amsterdam has several comedyclubs where the perfomances are in English. Boom Chicago is a very good club of American comedians. Comedy Cafe and Toomler have English-spoken stand-up comedy as well. Below you see of the comedy clubs
